Tees Transporter Bridge socks
The Tees Transporter Bridge is a unique landmark and a significant industrial heritage site in Middlesbrough.
Built in 1911 the bridge was designed by Cleveland Bridge & Engineering Company. It spans the River Tees, with a height of 160 feet and a length of 851 feet. When in operation the bridge acts as a gondola lift carrying up to 200 people and nine cars (or four lorries) across the river.
Today, the Tees Transporter Bridge is a popular tourist attraction, offering visitors a unique perspective on the region's industrial heritage and engineering prowess.
These socks are a collaboration between forsocksake and Daisy Fawcett (aka The Northern Potter) and celebrate the iconic Tees Transporter Bridge. They will make a great gift for any Teessider.
